Do you ask your customers how they found you every time they come into
the business?
Do you collect your customers email addresses or mobile numbers?
Do you measure the returns on any current marketing activity? Spend,
Responses & Return on Investment?
Look at your last piece of marketing or advertising. Did it actually ask
customers to call in, ring you or do something?
Do you provide something unique, something that your competition don't?
Do you have a set of business objectives that include marketing for the next 6
months?
Are you making it easy and convenient to prospects to understand your offer
and to do business with you?
Do you offer any incentives to staff or customers for finding you leads or new
business?
Do you stress the needs of your target audience in marketing materials, ie
describe the user benefits not just descriptions of the product or service?
Do you ask your customers what they think of your service, what you could do
better and if they might have any referrals for you?
